Lepidodactylus lugubris

Mottled Gecko (Lepidodactylus lugubris) born in captivity in our facilities. Alternately eating Gecko Nutrition, Repashy and Rhacofood twice a week, and Drosophila hydei twice a week.

Temperatures of 20-21ºC during the night and 24-25ºC during the day and humidity between 60-75%.

They are tremendously curious animals, since their reproduction is mainly by parthenogenesis. Females, without the need to be with a male, lay fertile eggs that result in identical copies of themselves.

They are not animals to handle because they are very slippery, but they are a lot of fun to watch in a terrarium.
